School of chess excellence 2 says that tactics can be broken down into combinative vision and calculating variations.

• combinative vision is the ability to find non-obvious moves, that are not immediately strong but have a deeper idea

Game Analysis

• White London: there are lots of ideas of light-squared bishop checks with discovery, in the london system
• White London: again, forks with the e-pawn are possible.
• White London: black and fork the bishop and knight with the e-pawn
• Black Sicilian discovered double attack
• Watch out for hanging b-pawn into captured rook
• Late game, always watch for pieces on the same coloured squares against minor pieces
• X-Ray extra attacker.
• Discovered attack winning a passed pawn.
• Check with discovered attack: need to consider unprotected queen as part of defense
• Fork threat causes bishop to hang
• X-Ray: left rook attacked by x-ray
• Mating threat: Mate against dislodged king's middle pawn.
• En Passant into hanging a bunch of pawns.

• Black Najdorf: left solo defender under attack, leading to a remove-the-defender tactic (another lossed pawn same game)
• Black Najdorf: Missed mate-in-1 threat, breaking fork.

• Black QID: need to consider prophylactic moves. These are especially hard to find, as you can often weaken your position doing so.
• White London: bad trade. Needs deeper calculation, particularly evaluating hanging pieces.
• White London: Knight on c3 exchange, needed to force bishop takes first to avoid king-rook fork

• Black Sicilian: Missed Queen Trap. Should have calculated their options better.
• White London vs KID: need to watch out for queen trades after sacrificing material.
